Join Miss Tina on Saturdays at 11 am for an engaging Story Time & Craft! Each week has a different theme and activity. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Visit the Riverfront Park for a rotating Storywalk. We change the story once a month, so make sure to catch the updates.

Join Ms. Kathy on Wednesdays for Innovation Studio & Bodie’s Lighthouse Lab where kids have fun learning, creating and building! Themes range from kitchen science to electronics, covering robotics, hydraulics, magnetism, marble runs, and more. Open to children of all ages though young children should have an adult helper. Kids can also create with our extensive craft supplies during Bodie’s Lighthouse Lab.

Our library will provide:

• a lanyard for your child and special badges to help then celebrate each 100 book milestone!

• Log sheets to help keep track of what books you’re reading with your child.

• Easy grab-n-go book sets organized by topics your child loves (dinosaurs, transportation, pirates, etc!)

• Prizes to celebrate the 1,000 book milestone!

Children are able to checkout a full backpack full of specific supplies for exploring birding, botany, bugs, hiking, and the night sky. Ask our clerks for more details.

Visit us on Thursdays at 10:30am to meet up with other caregivers of young children to play, learn, and socialize.
