The D.R. Evarts Library offers all sorts of resources and programs to help members of our community, young and old, learn something new, connect with neighbors and friends or just have a little fun.
Programs for Kids through Teens
From weekly drawing lessons to book clubs to our super fun “Take & Make” kits, The D.R. Evart’s Library has a program to keep your kids engaged and learning!
1000 Books Before Kindergarten
Our library will provide: a lanyard for your child and special badges to help then celebrate each 100 book milestone! – Log sheets to help keep track of what books you’re reading with your child. – Easy grab-n-go book sets organized by topics your child loves (dinosaurs, transportation, pirates, etc!) – Prizes to celebrate the 1,000 book milestone! Learn more about the program.
Join us outside for Story Time on Saturdays from 10am to 11am. Families should bring a blanket or chairs to allow for social distancing. All ages welcome, but this Story Time is geared toward children ages 3-5 years old
Programs for Adults
We didn’t forget about the grown-ups either. From tech help to navigating the job market to help planning a fun night with the family. The D.R. Evarts Library has got your back!
